Editorial Process Description
Submission Authors submit their manuscript through the Open Journal System (OJS). The manuscript must comply with the journal's writing guidelines, including structure, citation format, and article template before proceeding to the next stage.
Initial Check The editorial team conducts an administrative review to verify that the manuscript meets basic requirements, including completeness of documents, writing format, and relevance to the journal's focus and scope. Manuscripts that do not meet the requirements will be returned to the author within 1 week.
Desk Review The Editor-in-Chief or Managing Editor conducts an initial quality assessment of the manuscript, evaluating the originality, scientific contribution, methodological appropriateness, and overall writing quality. Manuscripts that do not meet the academic standard will be rejected at this stage within 3–10 days.
Peer Review Manuscripts that pass the desk review are sent to at least two independent expert reviewers through a Double-Blind Peer Review process, where the identities of both the author and the reviewer remain confidential. This stage takes 1–3 months depending on reviewer availability and manuscript complexity.
Revision Based on feedback from the reviewers, the author is required to revise the manuscript in accordance with the suggestions and corrections provided. The author must submit the revised manuscript along with a response letter addressing each reviewer's comment within 2–8 weeks.
Decision The Editor-in-Chief makes a final editorial decision based on the revised manuscript and reviewer recommendations. The decision may be: Accepted, Minor Revision, Major Revision, or Rejected. This process takes 3–7 days after the revised manuscript is received.
Copyediting Accepted manuscripts undergo language editing, proofreading, and layout formatting to ensure consistency, readability, and compliance with the journal's publication standards. This stage takes 3–7 days and may involve coordination with the author for final approval.
Publish The final manuscript is published in the journal, DOI is activated through Crossref, and the article is submitted for indexing to relevant academic databases such as Google Scholar, DOAJ, SINTA. This process is completed within 1 month after acceptance.
